Role and Responsibilities: As a member of our home healthcare team, you will provide essential support and personalized care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their comfort and dignity. - Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility, including transfers and positioning, to promote safety and physical well-being. - Observation and Reporting: Monitor clients' physical and mental health, and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider promptly. - Nutritional Support: Assist in meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs and preferences, encouraging adequate nutrition and hydration. - Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, actively engaging clients in conversation and activities to enhance their quality of life. - Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for the client. - Documentation: Accurately document care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition, ensuring clear communication with the healthcare team.
Qualifications: - Certification: Home Health Aide certification or equivalent, meeting state requirements. - Experience: Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
