Description

Purpose of Position:

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead supports the SOC Manager with all aspects of the SOC. The SOC Lead implements directives and initiatives to provide a high level of support to store and SOC personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Support SOC Agent team during peak business hours

· Maintain a flexible schedule to provide leadership and direction in the absence of the SOC Manager

· Assist the SOC Manager with hiring and training of new agents

· Maintain detailed records of daily activities by location, activity type, and outcome

· Actively engage in ongoing forensic video review to identify deviation from expectations related to shrink (internal, external, process)

· Supports cross functional teams within the company around investigative needs:

• ATF Compliance

• HR

• Operations

· Collect, compile, and report on data from incoming calls to the SOC related to persons involved in repetitive or high dollar thefts

· Develop leads gathered from the SOC related to internal investigations

· Act as primary liaison with law enforcement agencies to conduct all necessary follow up of cases and to facilitate collection of restitution and civil penalty payments

· All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Ability to provide direction and make sound decisions in elevated stress situations

· Ability to multitask

· Ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner

· Knowledge of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and Microsoft Office

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality

Education/Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· 2+ years of Asset Protection (or related field) experience

None.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity at 20 inches or less due to computer work

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee will experience a moderate noise level (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic)
