Robert Half Accountant - Entry Level in Corona, California
Description We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Corona, California. In this role, you will assist with essential accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start their career in accounting within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain financial integrity.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Handle payroll, accounts payable, and other accounting tasks as required.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Contribute to inventory tracking and related accounting processes. Requirements • 0–2 years of accounting experience, including internships.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Open Systems Accounting software is advantageous.
