Meta Process Development Technician in Cork, Ireland
Summary:
At Meta, we’re developing the future of AR/VR displays. As an R&D Process Technician, your role is critical to this work. Your job will be hands on process development for the uLED's used in these displays while working closely with both Research Teams and Engineering Teams. You will help deliver projects on time, identify and solve complex problems, and work on some of the most advanced equipment in the world. This role is within a deadline-focused environment regularly requiring response to new data and situations on a regular basis.
Required Skills:
Process Development Technician Responsibilities:
Work as part of a Process Technician Team, conducting experiments and building devices using the latest semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment
Working with process and device integration engineers to identify problems and define corrective actions to build stable and repeatable processes
Accurately documenting and analyze batch data to promote quality and cycle time and keep projects on track
Own the reaction to SPC for equipment and process monitoring controls in the cleanroom environment
Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma in manufacturing, industrial engineering, materials science, electrical engineering or related field
Direct experience of working in semiconductor or LED environment
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Understanding of semiconductor processing and integration
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or higher in manufacturing, industrial engineering, materials science, electrical engineering or related field
Proven experience working on own initiative and demonstrated experience of analyzing and responding to unexpected situations as they arise
Familiar with a fabrication Manufacturing Execution System (MES) systems
Proven experience in problem-solving
