As our Accounting function continues to support both businesses, we are hiring a motivated, self-starter to our statutory reporting and compliance team.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of month-end statutory close journal entries and support files

• Preparation of interim and year-end statutory legal entity financial statements

• Supporting the statutory filing process for legal entities across EMEA

• Managing statutory audit support requests

• Preparation of technical accounting position papers

• Planning and relationship management with external service providers

• Submission of statistical returns

• Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to be able to conclude on accounting treatment for complex business related transactions; - Being a strong team player, who can operate globally, cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization, taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong audit and technical accounting experience with accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization

• Certified accountant qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or other accounting frameworks;

• Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - Experience managing multiple projects with competing schedules
