Actalent CNC Machinist And Programmer in Cordova, Tennessee

CNC Machine ProgrammerAbout the Role

You’ll create, refine, and validate CNC programs while owning the process that brings advanced medical‑device parts to life.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop high‑performance CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred) for multi‑axis machining.

  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.

  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors and automated controls.

  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.

  • Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.

  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.

  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.

  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure proper functionality and coolant levels.

  • Complete all documents associated with production.

  • Prevent damage, through carelessness, to the equipment or process used in the performance of the job.

  • Follow ISO 13485 quality management system procedures.

Essential Technical Skills

  • Strong CNC programming experience with advanced Mastercam proficiency.

  • Hands‑on expertise with multi‑axis machining, toolpath creation, and machine setup.

  • Ability to engineer solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
