Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Cordova, Tennessee
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support a company in Cordova, Tennessee through a Contract assignment. This part-time opportunity is fully on-site and is expected to support approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. The person in this role will help the accounting team by entering and organizing invoice information accurately while assisting with a backlog of payable items. Candidates who are comfortable working independently and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment will be well suited for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Review invoice details and apply the appropriate coding before processing for payment.
• Support the accounts payable team by helping reduce a backlog of outstanding invoice entries.
• Organize payable documentation and maintain clear, up-to-date records for accounting reference.
• Assist with check run preparation and related payment processing activities as needed.
• Verify invoice information to help ensure completeness and alignment with internal accounting procedures. Requirements
Pay rate: $22/hr
10-15 hours/ week
2-4 weeks long
M-F (between 7:30-4 PM) ** flexible with schedule
