Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
Join our team in a dynamic fabrication shop where you will be instrumental in welding and fabricating bridges, gates, and channels. Your role will involve laying out, fitting, and welding steel components to high standards.
Responsibilities
Weld bridges, gates, and channels in a fabrication shop environment.
Layout, fit, and weld steel components using various welding techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.
Utilize expertise in flux core, metal core, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
Work with stainless steel, carbon steel, and mild steel materials.
Fabricate and build components out of steel.
Measure and cut materials using a tape measure.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in flux core and metal core welding with 3-5+ years of experience.
3-5+ years of experience welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and mild steel.
Strong ability to read and work off blueprints and welding symbols.
3-5+ years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.
3-5+ years of experience working with structural and stainless steel.
3-5+ years of experience in fabricating steel components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with a tape measure for 3-5+ years.
Experience in fitting and understanding of structure and blueprint reading.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
