Hotel Front Desk Associate --- Job Description

? Position Overview

The Front Desk Associate serves as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a warm, service-oriented approach.

? Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and general inquiries
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using the hotel's booking system
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Process payments, verify identification, and maintain accurate billing records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation, and services
  • Maintain front desk organization, including logs, keys, and communication boards
  • Follow safety and security procedures to protect guests and property
