Aerotek CNC Machinist in Coral Springs, Florida

CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Location: Coral Springs, FL

Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Work Environment: Climate‑controlled manufacturing facility

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing facility on second shift . This role is ideal for a machinist with strong blueprint reading skills and CNC machining experience who values quality, consistency, and career growth in a modern, climate‑controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC milling and/or turning machines according to work orders and technical drawings

  • Read and interpret complex blueprints and machining instructions

  • Perform in‑process inspections and verify part accuracy using precision measuring instruments

  • Inspect and validate own work to ensure quality standards are met

  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of blueprint reading experience (required)

  • CNC machining experience (required)

  • Ability to inspect parts using gauges, calipers, and micrometers

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work second shift consistently

  • English proficiency required for communication and documentation

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments

  • Familiarity with ISO or quality‑controlled manufacturing processes

  • Experience operating multiple CNC machines

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
