The Enterprise Data Management Director is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, building, and scaling the firm’s enterprise data, analytics, and AI capabilities. This role provides strategic direction while remaining actively involved in hands-on execution, ensuring that data platforms, models, and analytics solutions deliver measurable business value.

The role will lead the transformation of an established modern data foundation into a business-ready, trusted, and scalable enterprise data environment. This includes designing enterprise data models, improving data quality and governance, accelerating analytics delivery, and enabling data-driven decision-making across service lines and corporate functions.

As Data Management Director, you will:

  • Provide leadership to team including coaching, mentoring and professional development or oversight to a department. Responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis.

  • Develop and implement enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategies that align with the Firm’s overall goals, growth objectives, and operating model.

  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of a business‑ready enterprise data environment that enables trusted reporting, analytics, and decision‑making.

  • Partner and collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure business needs are met.

  • Translate business strategy into actionable data initiatives that deliver measurable value across service lines and corporate functions.

  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership in data architecture, modeling, integration, analytics, and reporting, establishing best practices and standards.

  • Establishe and enforce data governance, data quality, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks to ensure reliability and responsible use of data.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing enterprise data team, fostering an environment that supports professional growth, learning, mentorship, and career development.

  • Define roles, responsibilities, and operating processes to enable effective collaboration between data, technology, and business teams.

  • Efficiently manages departmental resources, including budget, staffing, tools, and vendor relationships, to maximize productivity and achieve delivery targets.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, scalability, and alignment with business priorities.

  • Support growth initiatives, including forecasting, performance management, and integration of data from acquisitions and new systems.

  • Promote data literacy and a data‑driven culture by enabling self‑service analytics and improving stakeholder confidence in enterprise data.

  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability for results.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of progressive technology experience in data and analytics, with 5 years in senior leadership roles leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide D&A programs.

  • Ability to develop, implement, and execute enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategies aligned with organizational goals, growth objectives, and client needs, with clear accountability for outcomes.

  • Deep technical expertise in modern data architectures, including enterprise data lakes, business‑ready relational data models, and analytics platforms, with the ability to remain hands‑on when needed.

  • Strong hands‑on technical skills in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, cloud‑based data platforms, and enterprise analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Power BI, or comparable technologies).

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements and technical concepts into scalable data solutions and clear, actionable insights that deliver measurable business value.

Benefits Information:

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. Pay Range:

$189,400 - $250,000
