TYLin Communications Manager, Global Communications Center of Excellence Lead in Coral Gables, Florida

Job Summary

Responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing integrated internal and external communications strategies that strengthen the organization’s brand, enhance employee engagement, and support business objectives. Ensure that internal and external communications touchpoints align with growth strategies and all messaging is appropriate and consistent across all media.

Working closely with leaders, regional teams, and technical experts, translate complex engineering concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with employees, clients, and external stakeholders worldwide.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Global Internal Communications

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies and campaigns that align a diverse workforce with company priorities, strategy, and culture

  • Craft messaging for organizational updates, transformation initiatives, and change management

  • Create and manage content for various global channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, town halls)

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including global campaigns, recognition programs, and culture-building efforts

  • Ensure consistency of messaging across regions, practices, sectors, and markets while allowing for local relevance

External Communications

  • Develop and implement external communications strategies and partner with marketing on growth campaigns that elevate the organization’s reputation.

  • Partner with technical leaders and experts to position the firm as an industry thought leader across key markets

  • Produce and support content for external platforms, including website, social media, and client-facing materials

  • Identify opportunities to showcase major projects, innovations, and technical expertise

Technical Storytelling and Content Development

  • Create high-quality content for a variety of audiences and channels

  • Maintain and enforce brand voice, messaging, and visual identity standards

  • Translate complex engineering and infrastructure topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content for diverse audiences

  • Write and edit a wide range of materials, including executive communications, project profiles, case studies, and articles

  • Ensure all content reflects the organization’s brand voice, technical excellence, and strategic priorities

Strategic Communications and Change Management

  • Develop communication plans that support business transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic initiatives

  • Anticipate communication risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies

Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns

  • Analyze engagement data and feedback to refine messaging and channels

  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and content approaches to meet the needs of a global organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field

  • 5–8+ years of experience in internal and/or external communications, preferably within engineering, infrastructure, or professional services

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills

  • Experience working with senior leadership and managing sensitive communications

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Proficiency in digital communication tools, content management systems, and analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global or multi-regional organizations

  • Familiarity with change management and employee engagement strategies

  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions or large-scale organizational change

Additional Information

T.Y. Lin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $96,000 - $144,000 annually for this position and local market.
