Job Summary:
Seasonal, full-time position. Days will vary to include weekends and holidays. Average 28-38 hours per week, depending on the day of the week, the activity and the weather.
Daily duties will include the inspection and operation of Lifts, Quad Power Bungee Jump, Go Karts, Coaster and Wreck Tangle. Operators will be trained to work all activities.
The set-up and inspection of each activity (Lifts, Bungee Jump, Go Kart, Wreck Tangle, & Rocky Mountain Coaster, Zip Line, Scenic Chair Ride, Bumper Boats, Super Tube Carpet, Coaster Cart) each morning. Elevate each guest's experience by providing extensive interaction in the safe and enjoyable use of each activity. Strict ticket security and scanning at all activities. Outgoing demeanor, teamwork, and the highest safety consciousness required to understand and promote Copper's products and services.
Basic Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand outside in the sun/rain for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work 5 days/week, weekends and holidays included.
- Must be willing to work as early as 4:00AM and as late as midnight while ensuring excellent service standards with our guests.
- Must be fluent in English to read, write and speak.
- Mandatory training and passing a written test required.
- Must comply with Copper's grooming standards.
- Must desire an outdoor job that requires manual labor.
- Must follow strict safety guidelines in the inspection and operation of all activity machinery.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to recognize and respond to audible signals (i.e. telephones, beeper system and guest questions)
- This position may require the use of a mountain radio/walkie-talkies for communication
