About the Role
As a Consulting Analyst within our Mortgage & Lending Consulting practice, you will support process transformation and automation initiatives for mortgage and financial services clients. You will work as a Scrum Master and Senior Business System Analyst with senior consultants, business leaders, and technology teams to analyze current‑state processes, define future‑state solutions, and support successful implementation and adoption using Agile delivery frameworks.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a Scrum Master for mortgage transformation initiatives, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach cross‑functional teams on Agile and Scrum best practices to drive delivery, transparency, and continuous improvement
Partner with business leaders to understand current mortgage origination and servicing processes and systems
Conduct time‑and‑motion studies, process assessments, and focus groups
Identify inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives within mortgage origination and lending workflows
Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution recommendations
Collaborate closely with development teams on design, testing, and implementation in an Agile environment
Support sprint planning, release planning, roadmaps, and milestone tracking
Remove impediments and support dependency management to keep Agile teams on track
Assist with UAT planning and execution
Support training documentation and initial training sessions
Provide project and sprint status updates and support issue escalation
What You Must Have to Be Considered
Scrum Master experience (required), with hands‑on experience leading Agile teams
Mortgage origination experience (required)
Mortgage industry experience (required), including strong product, process, and industry knowledge
5+ years of Business System Analysis experience in the US mortgage industry
Strong problem definition and solutioning skills
Experience with Jira or Microsoft VSTS (Azure DevOps)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Documentation and process modelling experience
