The Role

This is a senior, commercially focused role with responsibility for driving and scaling APEX in Denmark, while contributing to the development of digital partnerships and value‑based solutions across channels.

APEX remains the core pillar of the role. In addition, the Digital Partnerships & APEX Director will support the evolution of digital partnerships, solution frameworks and commercial propositions — ensuring that APEX solutions are scalable, operationally sound and commercially strong.

The role operates at the intersection of commercialization, product development, partnerships and execution, translating media, data and digital capabilities into clear, sellable and outcome‑driven solutions.

As Digital Partnerships & APEX Director, you will have responsibility for:

  • Driving the strategic and commercial development of APEX in Denmark

  • Contributing to the development and activation of digital partnerships and value‑based solutions

  • Translating capabilities into clear commercial propositions linked to APEX

  • Ensuring strong collaboration between strategy, planning, operations and execution

  • Selling Apex internally to client leads and externally to clients

You will act as a key connector between agencies, commercial teams, clients and regional/global APEX stakeholders, ensuring solutions are easy to activate, measurable and commercially viable.

Key responsibilities

Strategic & commercial development

  • Define and deliver the annual business and growth plan for APEX in Denmark, aligned with regional and Groupe objectives.

  • Drive revenue, yield and margin performance across APEX solutions.

  • Identify new commercial opportunities within APEX, including principal solutions, partnerships and innovative trading models.

  • Support key pitches and new business initiatives in close collaboration with agency and commercial leadership.

Digital partnerships & solutions

  • Contribute to the development and activation of digital partnerships with media owners, platforms and technology partners, primarily where they strengthen APEX offerings.

  • Help build and maintain a clear, market‑relevant solutions framework and local product catalogue for APEX and related digital solutions.

  • Develop cross‑channel solutions combining media, data and technology with a clear value proposition.

Client & agency enablement

  • Educate and enable internal teams and clients on the APEX and value‑based solutions proposition.

  • Act as a senior sparring partner to strategy, planning and operations teams on complex commercial and digital topics.

  • Support client engagements where APEX or advanced commercial solutions are a key growth driver.

Operational excellence & execution

  • Ensure solutions are operationally realistic and scalable, working closely with planning and operations teams.

  • Help bridge strategy and execution, ensuring high‑quality delivery, transparency and measurable outcomes.

Regional & global collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with APEX regional and global teams to align frameworks, share best practices and support global initiatives.

  • Ensure local APEX solutions align with global standards while remaining relevant to the Danish market.

Profile – what we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded profile with strong experience in media, digital solutions and value‑based commercial models, who is motivated by building, scaling and activating solutions rather than owning full functional leadership.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience from progressively senior roles within a media agency, media company or digital environment.

  • A strong understanding of the media marketplace and a well‑established network with key media and platform partners across channels.

  • A self‑starter mindset with a proven track record of top performance, measured against business growth, revenue development and commercial impact.

  • Strong capability in identifying and creating opportunities to grow client revenue and build and scale digital capabilities within an agency context.

  • An entrepreneurial approach with experience driving commercial growth and developing opportunities in close collaboration with existing networks, partners and consultancies.

  • Solid business and market understanding, with the ability to quickly understand client needs and translate them into innovative, value‑based solutions.

  • Strong people skills — you are a true team player who can inspire, engage and influence across disciplines without formal people leadership.

  • Motivation to work hands‑on to grow APEX in Denmark and build strong, trusted relationships internally and externally.

  • Cross-functional collaboration-mindset that turn ideas into scalable, market‑ready offerings.
