Job Description
Wolf Creek Landscape Services, LLC is looking for a skilled Roadside Tractor Operator/Mechanic to join our team. The role involves operating agricultural tractors, medium duty trucks, and various equipment such as skid steers and small wheel loaders. You will be responsible for mowing county roadsides and highways, handling large areas and rough mowing with up to 10' rotary mowers. If you are mechanically inclined and enjoy working with high quality equipment in a team environment, this is the job for you.
This position requires travel Monday -- Friday, with lodging provided and a daily expense per Diem. Work begins in early May through October with occasional opportunities for weekend work.
Pay
$20.00 - $32.00 per hour (Dependent upon skill level)

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Ag tractors, skid steers, small wheel loaders, and similar equipment.
- Mow county roadsides, highways, and large areas using rotary mowers up to 10 feet.
- Travel weekly (Monday -- Friday) with occasional local work in Coopersville, MI.
- Ensure safe transportation and operation of equipment, securing loads to DOT specifications.
- Perform basic mechanical diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
- Read and follow mapped routes efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and assist in enforcement.
Qualifications
- Experience operating compact and midsized tractors, light and medium-duty trucks, and towing trailers.
- Mechanical aptitude -- ability to diagnose and perform minor repairs.
- Physically fit -- able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in variable conditions.
- Time management skills -- complete daily tasks efficiently and independently.
- Self -- Motivated and team-oriented.
- Must possess a Chauffeur's License or Obtain upon hire.
- You must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Non-Smoking environment -- No smoking in company vehicle or equipment.
