Staffmark Automotive Assembler in Coopersville, Michigan
Job Summary: The Automotive Assembler is responsible for assembling vehicle components and systems according to specifications, safety standards, and production schedules. This role involves working on an assembly line or workstation to ensure high-quality vehicle production.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assemble automotive parts and components (e.g., engines, chassis, interiors, electrical systems)
· Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and schematics
· Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently
· Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects or quality issues
· Report production issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Meet production targets while adhering to quality standards
· Comply with workplace safety rules and company policies
· Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED preferred
· Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is an advantage
· Ability to read and understand work instructions and diagrams
· Strong attention to detail and quality
· Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
· Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to required weight limits
· Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed
