Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of small to medium-sized metal parts using hand and power tools. The role involves bending and lifting as you load and unload work pieces onto pallets, alternating between sitting and standing. You will read blueprints and perform necessary tasks to ensure precision, preparing work by studying assembly instructions and specifications. You will examine parts for proper fit, verify specifications by measuring completed components, and maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Assemble metal parts using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Prepare work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Examine parts for proper fit and verify specifications.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Maintain supplies inventory.
Essential Skills
1+ year mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
1+ years blueprint reading experience.
1+ years of hand and power tool experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with rivet guns and sheet metal assembly is beneficial.

This is a Permanent position based out of Coon Rapids, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
