A BOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Forklift Operator to support our Conyers facility’s production and warehouse operations. This role operates a stand-up forklift and is responsible for material movement, inventory control, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. If you're safety-minded, organized, and experienced in forklift operations, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Forklift Operation & Yard Support
Operate stand-up (and sit-down) lift trucks to move products, ingredients, and supplies
Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading to fulfill production and shipping needs
Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars
Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers to flow panels as needed
Support recycling, waste, and sustainability efforts in the yard
Inventory & Compliance
Maintain proper stock rotation and inventory documentation (FIFO)
Clean up spills and maintain a safe, organized yard area
Document daily tasks and activities per supervisor's instructions
Follow lockout/tagout and environmental safety procedures

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Stand-up and/or sit-down forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and work outdoors in variable conditions
Ability to read and understand shipping paperwork and safety instructions
Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency
