FORESTAR INDUSTRIES, LLC Warehouse Worker in Conway, Missouri
ForeStar Industries is a custom metal fabricator for the marine industry. Our company has been around for over 30 years. We are looking to add a crew member to our location in Phillipsburg, Missouri (about 10 minutes from Lebanon, MO).
Work with shipping clerk to prioritize shipments, work open Purchase Order Report, and create documentation to ship to customers. General warehouse worker responsibilities include:
- Identifying past due and back-orders that can be shipped
- Using Pick Tickets, pull and stage orders for shipments, then notify Warehouse leader.
- Request double check and verification of the accuracy of the staged order.
- If material has been pulled and staged by someone else, double check and sign off on accuracy of the shipment
- Once the picked order has been double checked, secure and apply custom carton labels
- Wrap and weigh pallets and secure and apply Packing List and Pallet Labels
- Notify shipping clerk and warehouse leader when order is ready to ship
- Operate the forklift to load orders for shipping
Normal warehouse duties on a daily or weekly basis include but are not limited to:
- Picking/pulling material from the shelf to fill orders
- Double checking and verifying orders pulled by others
- Forklift and pallet jack operation
- Weighing and recording weights of pallets
- Wrapping and strapping pallets
- Loading shipments on trucks
- Unloading incoming product from container shipments
- Inspect incoming product for issues or defects, identifying non-conforming product
- Separate, label, and quarantine non-conforming product
- Stock and organize product on pallets and pallets on pallet racks with labels visible
- Perform product rework or refurbish as necessary
Keep warehouse clean and secure everything in its proper place
Must have good clerical skills and numerical skills and be able to perform routine physical duties, including lifting boxes up to 60 lbs each when needed.
