GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The HR Representative provides administrative and clerical support in functional and confidential areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to onboarding and offboarding, records management, and other employee life-cycle tasks and duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process new hire files, termination files, and employee changes and transfers. This includes notifying various departments of new hires, terminations and other status changes to ensure proper systems and access are enabled or disabled timely. This duty is performed daily.

2. Timely maintain employee information in Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including filing of employment related records/files. This duty is performed daily.

3. Assist employees with personnel information and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures. This duty is performed daily.

4. Train and assist management in related HRIS platforms and processes. This duty is performed daily.

5. Complete pre-employment background screens, including drug tests. This duty is performed daily.

6. Provide an effective onboarding experience for new employees and ensure all paperwork is completed properly and timely. This duty is performed as needed.

7. Process mobile and remote access requests. This duty is performed as needed.

8. Prepare correspondence related to Adverse Action. This duty is performed daily.

9. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. This duty is performed daily.

10. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.

11. Performs various clerical duties such as filing, organizing, and answering phones and emails. This duty is performed daily.

12. Manages the HR group email distribution box by receiving and distributing emails according to subject matter. This duty is performed daily.

13. Delivers, processes, and distributes the mail. This duty is performed daily.

14. Completes verifications of employment. This duty is performed daily.

15. Maintains confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times. This duty is performed daily.

16. Verify input and assist other HR Representatives. This duty is performed as needed.

17. Provide an effective onboarding experience for new employees and ensure all paperwork is completed properly and timely. This duty is performed daily.

18. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. The duty is performed daily.

19. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. The duty is performed daily.

20. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, and 7 to 11 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using mon y and other forms of measurement.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
