ABOUT THE ROLE
The Production and Facility Maintenance Technician (Maintenance B) will be responsible for performing
preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery as well as managing
general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate a commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality.
The Pay Rate for this position is $34.37 per hour and the shift is 3rd (9pm-5am). Successful caniddaes will train on day shift until prepared.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, includingmechanical, pneumatic, and hyrdraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize production downtime
Carry out preventive maintenance procedures as scheduled
Assist with the installation, setup, and modification of machinery and productionlines
Maintain and repair facility infrastructure, including plumbing systemsand building structures
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, equipment logs, andrepair histories\
Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to address mechanical issuesin a timely and effective manner
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, includingLockout/Tagout and PPE requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work area and relatedtools
Respond to maintenance requests quickly and safely to minimize downtime
Assist with facility maintenance tasks like basic plumbing andgeneral repairs
Keep maintenance logs and records up to date
Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to resolve mechanicalissues
Help install new equipment and assist with machine changeovers
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification a plus
Required Work Experience:
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with tools, welding and alignment equipment
Ability to read mechanical schematics or blue prints
Basic facility maintenance knowledge (plumbing,machine repair, etc.)
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Willingness to be on-call or work overtime as needed
Welding or fabrication experience
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and maintenance best practices
Additional Requirements :
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
