What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide one-on-one therapy services across a variety of care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and long-term care. Working under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists, you will help implement treatment plans for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, strokes, and other medical conditions.
In this role, you will support patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence through gait training, therapeutic exercise, and hands-on assistance. You will also be responsible for accurately documenting treatment and patient progress using Meditech in the inpatient setting and WebPT in the outpatient setting. This position works closely with Physical Therapists, fellow PTAs, Occupational Therapists, and leadership in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
What You’ll Need
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
Current Montana Physical Therapy Assistant license or temporary PTA license
Additional requirements include:
Current CPR certification, including BLS or HS AED CPR (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Three or more years of Therapy Assistant experience preferred
Strong clinical foundation in gait training, strength, and mobility-based therapies
Experience with E-Stim, Ultrasound, and Diathermy preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems

Shift:
Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Logan Health operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Schedules are based on the needs of the position and the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
