Insight Global Diesel Technician in Conley, Georgia
Job Description
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) and annual DOT inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across diesel trucks and heavy machinery
• Complete brake, driveline, transmission, and engine repairs or replacements
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Perform basic electrical diagnostics using multimeters and power probes
• Repair and replace hydraulic components including hoses and cylinders
• Complete wheel and tire replacements
• Respond to and support local road calls as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a proactive, driven work ethic
• Must be okay brining in and using their own hand tools such as:
○ Electrical tools, Multimeter, Wrenches, Hammers

Skills and Requirements
• 2-3+ years of diesel technician experience
• Experience working in the trucking or heavy equipment industry
• Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of brakes, belts, hoses, engines, transmissions, drivelines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to invest in or provide personal tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card, company will pay for it if they don’t have it • CDL license (preferred, not required)
• Prior experience handling road calls
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and electrical diagnostics
• ASE certification (especially heavy truck)
