The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the Director of the Division of Aeronautics, Rail and Transit.

About the Role
The Director reports to the Deputy Commissioner and provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for statewide aeronautics, rail, and transit programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Bureau of Aeronautics and the Bureau of Rail and Transit, including staff and budget oversight.
- Develop and administer the divisions operating and capital budgets.
- Represent NHDOT before the Legislature, Governor and Executive Council, and various boards and commissions.
- Build partnerships with federal agencies, state and regional partners, municipalities, transit providers, airport sponsors, and rail operators.
- Advance innovative and multimodal transportation strategies to support mobility and economic development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferably in a field related to public leadership, aeronautics, rail, or transit.
- Demonstrated professional accomplishments and strong communication skills.
- Ten or more years of supervisory and budget management experience.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, ideally at the state or federal level.
- Leadership and analytical skills applicable to transportation and state government.
