Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and controlling the processes of receiving goods, preparing and dispatching orders, and reverse logistics, ensuring the correct operation of the Distribution Center for local sales in Chile and the supply of the Distribution Center that consolidates and dispatches orders to LATAM distributors, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, accuracy of inventories and adherence to quality, safety and compliance standards.
Job Duties
Reception of Merchandise
Coordinate and supervise the physical and systemic reception of imported and domestic merchandise.
Validate quantities, product conditions, documentation, and records in the system.
Ensure the correct entry into inventory, labelling and location in the warehouse according to defined procedures.
Order Preparation and Fulfillment
Coordinate the picking, packing and dispatch processes for local sales customers in Chile and supply for LATAM distributors.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, business priorities, and committed dates.
Validate the correct consolidation of orders and documentation associated with each shipment.
Reverse Logistics
Coordinate and control reverse logistics processes, including returns, rejects, warranty returns, demonstrations, and repair teams.
Ensure the correct classification, systemic registration and disposal of returned products.
Coordinate with internal areas and logistics providers the timely management of these flows.
Warehouse Operational Coordination
Coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse operational team, ensuring order, productivity and compliance with procedures.
Supervise the correct handling, storage and preservation of products, minimizing risks of damage or loss.
Coordinate the daily operation with logistics operators and carriers.
Control and Continuous Improvement
Monitor key operational indicators (OTIF, inventory accuracy, receiving and dispatch times, picking errors).
Propose and implement improvements in logistics processes, layout and operational flows.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and compliance standards in all operations.
Job Qualifications
Required:
Professional degree in logistics, administration or related career.
Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics operations.
Experience in receiving, dispatch and reverse logistics. Experience with regional operation or distribution to third parties desirable.
