  • Author and maintain technical documentation including protocols, change controls, engineering reports, user requirement specifications (URS), and process documentation

  • Review, update, and harmonize manufacturing process documentation to ensure consistency across sites

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for filtration and bioprocess manufacturing systems

  • Identify and implement process improvements to support efficiency, scalability, and compliance objectives

  • Utilize statistical analysis tools to support validation activities and process optimization efforts

  • Support troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams and junior engineers

  • Communicate project updates, risks, timelines, and milestones to senior leadership and key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required

  • 7+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process development within medical device, bioprocessing, or highly regulated manufacturing environments

  • Strong experience with:

  • International technology transfers and manufacturing scale-up initiatives

  • Process validation and equipment qualification

  • Filtration systems, including hollow fiber and flat sheet membrane technologies

  • GMP, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 13485 regulated manufacturing environments

  • Data analysis and process optimization methodologies

  • Experience supporting contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs/CDMOs) strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with CAD/SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and electronic document management systems

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, sterilization processes, and single-use systems preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and operate effectively within matrixed organizations

Additional Information
