Envista Holdings Corporation Senior Software Business Analyst in Community of Madrid, Spain

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Business Analyst (Senior BA) to play a key role in driving the evolution of our Spark software platform, designed for orthodontists and general dental practitioners. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Technical Product Manager and an agile software development team, while also engaging with stakeholders across the broader company ecosystem. Your expertise will help shape product capabilities and ensure our solutions deliver meaningful value to clinicians and patients. ​

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead/Senior TPM on high‑level feature and roadmap planning; contribute to release sequencing based on priorities and risk.

  • Define technical product solutions for tasks proposed for upcoming releases and review them with the Lead/Senior TPM for approval.

  • Create epics with general requirements and define story titles with workflows for the development team.

  • Write user stories and bring them to Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) sessions.

  • Identify dependencies for epics and user stories and communicate them to the development team.

  • Facilitate estimation meetings and support sprint planning by providing requirement clarity.

  • Own integration between requirements and development, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as SRS, traceability matrices, bug resolution reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory and engineering standards.

  • Assist in analyzing and troubleshooting bugs and support tickets to clarify requirements and solutions.

  • Coordinate and work with global teams across different time zones.

  • Serve as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of progress, risks, and decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in software development projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach

  • Fluent written and oral English (C1+)

  • Experience with Agile software development

  • Experience in a regulated environment, preferably the medical device industry
