System One Production Associate I- Machining in Commerce City, Colorado
Production Associate Level I – Machining
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 1st Shift
Position Summary
Operates machines and production equipment safely in a manufacturing environment to meet quality and productivity standards with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Rotate between machining workstations
Power wash and manually clean crankshafts and cylinder blocks
Perform detailed inspections of crankshafts and cylinder blocks
Operate polishing and milling machines (as skill level increases)
Use cranes and measurement tools (micrometers, bore gauges)
Follow documented work instructions and record process results
Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts
Maintain clean work areas and meet production cycle times
Safety & Quality
Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies
Use required PPE and report hazards or incidents
Perform quality inspections and control non-conforming materials
Adhere to standard work and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke)
Top 3 Skills
Machine operation experience
Knowledge of hand tools
Strong communication skills
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
