Comanche Gas Solutions LLC Electronics Technician in Comanche, Texas
The Electronic Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing of electronics on company equipment, using a multimeter and other tools.
Job Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair of electronic systems on all company equipment with little to no supervision.
- Troubleshoot and install network equipment with supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of software and adapters used to program, calibrate and troubleshoot electronic sensors and equipment.
- Perform instrumentation PMs and maintain accurate records for equipment.
- Assist in training of field personnel on troubleshooting and operating control systems.
- Assist shop personnel in installation and troubleshooting of electronics on company equipment.
- Build and repair cables as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under varying degrees of pressure.
- Ability to travel 85+% of time.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Oil and Gas or related industry, with a strong background in electronics.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Driving for extended periods
- Wearing appropriate PPE (respirator, hearing protection, eye protection, hard hat, etc.)
Job Type:Full-time
Pay:$22.71 - $27.35 per hour
Expected hours:80 per week
