JPMorgan Chase & Co. JOB TITLE: Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available] LOCATION: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. DUTIES: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code- related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project System Manager, Project Lead, Delivery Module Lead, Tech Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project System Manager, Project Lead, Delivery Module Lead, Tech Lead, or related occupation. This position requires experience with the following: Developing dynamic, cross-platform web applications using ASP.NET technologies, including Web Forms, MVC architecture, and AS.PNET Core for high-performance, scalable solutions; Working with data access technologies including ADO.NET for database interaction and management; Building service-oriented applications using Windows Communication Foundation; Creating and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services for application communication; Using LINQ for type-safe, readable, and efficient data manipulation; Using Entity Framework for ORM to simplify data access in .NET applications; Developing robust and scalable applications with C# and .NET; Creating responsive and interactive web pages using ReactJS and Form Web Component library; Creating Web Component libraries using .NET Standard for cross-platform compatibility and code reuse; Integrating tools including Captiva OCR and Paradatec for developing image processing, extraction, classification, redaction, and completion modules; Debugging and providing solutions to Java applications.
