The Opportunity
This role, based in Columbus, Ohio within the Nutrition Division , plays a critical role in ensuring access to high‑quality ingredients by leading global ingredient qualification initiatives. The position is responsible for end‑to‑end project management of ingredient qualification efforts, partnering closely with global cross‑functional teams and external suppliers. Success in this role requires strong operational leadership, systems ownership, and the ability to manage complex workflows, data, and timelines in a regulated environment while driving continuous improvement.
What You’ll Work On
Lead and manage global ingredient qualification projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment to business objectives and project timelines
Own and administer the Devex Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) CQS module, including system enhancements, roadmap tracking, UAT coordination, and user onboarding and support
Perform and support ETL activities for Devex and other data sources to enable qualification execution, monitoring, reporting, and business insights
Direct and coordinate cross‑functional project teams, assigning work, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones
Identify project risks and issues, escalating and communicating effectively with leadership and stakeholders as needed
Partner with external suppliers to collect quality, compliance, and qualification documentation
Utilize IT systems and reporting tools to support qualification execution, resource tracking, and performance metrics
Maintain accurate project plans and prioritize daily work to meet established schedules
Exercise sound judgment and decision‑making within defined authority levels
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels, including global teams and external partners
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant Agile Project Management certification
5+ years of related experience leading complex, global projects within a functional or regulated environment
Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Experience managing business systems and data in support of regulated processes, including system enhancements, UAT, and user adoption
Working knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and reporting (ETL) to support operational execution and decision‑making
Experience coordinating ingredient qualification phases including Pre‑Qualification, Supplier Assessment, Ingredient Assessment, and Finished Product Approval
Strong understanding of quality and compliance culture
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence cross‑functional teams
Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, execution, and integration capabilities
Experience engaging with external suppliers and third parties
Familiarity with tools such as Devex, Power BI, SharePoint, Planview, and Microsoft Office applications

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
