A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Software Engineer - Hogan.
Position type: Contract (12 months w/ extension)
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Columbus, OH/ Minneapolis, MN
Hybrid (3 days onsite/ 2 day remote)
As a Senior Software Engineer - Hogan, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide automation-first solutions for Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, and Hogan Deposits systems.
Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, SQL, REXX, SORT utilities, DB2, and IMS.
Collaborate with analysts, testers, and operations teams throughout the SDLC.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents independently.
Support enterprise initiatives such as Data Center Migration with remediation tasks and change request approvals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Hogan mainframe systems (CIS, Umbrella, Deposits).
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL, REXX, SORT utilities, DB2, and IMS.
Ability to debug independently and resolve production issues.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work at enterprise scale.
Experience managing change requests through full lifecycle.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $65 - $70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
