Senior Business Operations Analyst

Department:

Health Sciences | Government Resource Center

The Senior Business Operations Analyst partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide support for specific project needs as well as support of daily business operations at The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC), including finance processes, staff allocations, and overall fiscal management of departmental resources. Collaborates with GRC IT and GRC Communications staff to develop and implement processes to improve organizational performance.

Cultivates working relationships that support efficient fiscal management of sponsor funds and overall GRC business operations. Reviews legal contracts and data use agreements and works with OSU staff as needed to ensure compliance with sponsor, university, and federal guidelines.

Develops and participates in training of GRC staff in budgeting and business operations topics. Supports project teams in development of standardized business purposes and justifications for documentation needed for specific projects. May propose or formulate policies and processes that support efficient business operations and ensure alignment with the GRC mission and its strategic goals.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

Required Qualifications

At least four years of relevant experience in grants or fiscal management is required. Requires successful completion of a background check. The selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Additional Desired Qualifications

Organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. Experience with the development and submission of proposals (including budget development), grants management, review and analysis of contracts, data use agreements, subcontracts and other legal documents.

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center’s mission is to identify, research, and spread innovative practices to improve health for all Ohioans through partnerships with healthcare, state, and academic leaders. The GRC’s current work encompasses critical issues and challenges in public health and health services, including family health, behavioral health, Ohio Medicaid membership, management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and health system payment innovation.
