Shift Schedule:
Shift: 1st (Days)
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Hours: 7am- 3:30pm
Job Purpose
The Sachet Filler Operator is responsible for demonstrating ownership and accountability for a set of machines, equipment, and processes. This role performs routine operational tasks including start-ups, shut-downs, monitoring, cleaning, basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks, reporting, inspections, and utilizing basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.
Minimum Requirements
Submit an OAP form
Must meet time in role requirements
1+ years of manufacturing experience
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting/carrying (10–50 lbs.) and pushing/pulling (50–200 lbs.)
Frequent handling, gripping, bending, and stooping
Ability to work at elevated heights (ladders/platforms), climb stairs, and lean over equipment
Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods
Flexible schedule to support production needs and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Preferred Qualifications
Technical degree or certification
3+ years of manufacturing experience
Forklift certification or other equipment-specific training
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the filler in accordance with global standards and monitoring regimes
Ensure optimal performance of multiple machines, processes, or equipment by adhering to good hygiene and manufacturing practices
Monitor all activities on production lines and promptly report downtime to Supervisor, Maintenance, or Quality Assurance if not resolved by the operator
Facilitate effective communication and planning with leads and operators to ensure timely and efficient changeovers, production line optimization, quality checks, schedule adherence, and effective waste management
Escalate issues as appropriate and provide thorough verbal and written handovers
