As an Operations Supervisor- Home Lending Assumptions in Customer Assistance Solutions, you will provide support to customers impacted by life events such as marriage, divorce, and death and our team offers credit-qualified customers assumption services for their mortgage. You will oversee the review of application documents, evaluate creditworthiness, and coordinate with the Underwriting team to obtain necessary income, asset, and other documentation. You will have direct collaboration with Assumption Underwriting, Assumption Closing, and the Customer Life Events team and building strong relationships with Underwriting partners is essential to ensure timely processing of customer requests.
Job responsibilities
Supervise the compilation of customer files and loan documents within standards for underwriting review
Manage the pipeline proactively by tracking progress, generating reports, and ensuring associates are accountable for timely and accurate processing
Maintain compliance with quality and control standards and expectations
Monitor performance and quality metrics
Ensure the team meets regulatory timelines
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Excellent customer service skills
Experience leading a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Ability to partner with multiple business units
Time management and prioritization skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge of MSP, MS Office, Customer Assist, and MBWS
Minimum of 3 years mortgage processing experience
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on JPMC's review of criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other relevant information to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Originator requirements.
