Position Overview
The Center for Integrative Health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking experienced and passionate instructors to lead community-based wellness classes that support holistic health and well-being. Ability to design and teach integrative modalities such as one or more of the following: yoga, tai chi, qigong, sound bath, forest bathing, urban zen and other mind-body practices. Instructors will deliver safe, inclusive, and engaging sessions for adult and geriatric populations under the supervision of Center for Integrative Health staff and leadership.
Responsibilities
Design and facilitate group classes in one or more integrative modalities
Ensure participant safety and accessibility throughout sessions
Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse populations, including older adults and individuals with limited mobility
Collaborate with Center staff to support program goals and participant experience
Maintain a welcoming and professional environment
Member of Yoga Alliance a plus
BLS certification strongly preferred
Minimum Education Required
HS Graduate or Equivalent
