Job Description:
Position available for cross-bids and internal applications (Cross Bids will be considered first)
Mars Petcare- Finished Goods Operator - Columbus, OH (KKC)
Shift: 3rd (Night)
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Hours: 3pm- 11:30pm
Description of Role:
The General Relief Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of the sites production lines to ensure proper execution against quality, safety and GMP policy’s. Must be flexible to support all areas of the site pending where the need arises.

Must be in good standing
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certificate
Fork lift certified
2+ years in a manufacturing operator role
Physical Requirements:
Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Assure proper paperwork is maintained for quality & inventory control; hold records, case samples and shipping of finished product
Operate and maintain push/pull lift, including the documenting of forklift checks
Accountable for the performance and monitoring of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment
Facilitate changeovers, optimize production lines, perform quality checks/audits, achieve schedule, report downtime and reduce waste
Participate in continuous improvement of the operations
Support Visual Workplace activities
Follow good hygiene, safety, quality and manufacturing practices
Troubleshoot equipment to assure proper mechanical operation.
Any ad hoc requests as necessary
