Flairsoft Ltd Director of Business Development in Columbus, Ohio

We're looking for a results-driven Director of Business Development to accelerate growth of our infrastructure Right of Way and Permitting solution and develop new revenue streams for our next-generation cloud platform with AI/ML capabilities. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have success in selling services or software to Transportation/Transit, local Government, and/or oil/gas/midstream, renewables, utilities clients.
  • Knowledge of land record management/right-of-way acquisition, real estate asset and permitting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:?Identify new markets and clients, using networking, cold calling and social media.
  • Relationship Building: Actively engage prospects and help them navigate their internal buying processes. Leveraging existing relationships an advantage.
  • Sales and Negotiation:?Conduct presentations, support product demos, negotiate and close deals. Thorough follow-up, consistent engagement and methodical pursuit progress a must.
  • Customer Success:?Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Reporting and Analysis:?Track and report sales metrics.
  • Coordination with Operations and Product Development:?Continuous engagement with project delivery to develop new solutions.
  • Support or lead product demos

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of industry related business development.
  • Communication/negotiation:?Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Sales Experience:?Demonstrated ability in B2B sales, SaaS sales.
  • Relationship Building:?Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical/Problem-Solving:?Ability to analyze data and develop solutions.
  • Product Knowledge:?Develop in-depth knowledge of the product and competitive landscape.
  • Solid presentation skills with high energy level and professionalism.
  • Support various conferences including IRWA annual/local conferences and meetings, AASHTO, etc. and travel to client locations nationally as appropriate. Up to 40% of travel may be required.
  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience preferred.
