Flairsoft Ltd Director of Business Development in Columbus, Ohio
We're looking for a results-driven Director of Business Development to accelerate growth of our infrastructure Right of Way and Permitting solution and develop new revenue streams for our next-generation cloud platform with AI/ML capabilities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have success in selling services or software to Transportation/Transit, local Government, and/or oil/gas/midstream, renewables, utilities clients.
- Knowledge of land record management/right-of-way acquisition, real estate asset and permitting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:?Identify new markets and clients, using networking, cold calling and social media.
- Relationship Building: Actively engage prospects and help them navigate their internal buying processes. Leveraging existing relationships an advantage.
- Sales and Negotiation:?Conduct presentations, support product demos, negotiate and close deals. Thorough follow-up, consistent engagement and methodical pursuit progress a must.
- Customer Success:?Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
- Reporting and Analysis:?Track and report sales metrics.
- Coordination with Operations and Product Development:?Continuous engagement with project delivery to develop new solutions.
- Support or lead product demos
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of industry related business development.
- Communication/negotiation:?Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Sales Experience:?Demonstrated ability in B2B sales, SaaS sales.
- Relationship Building:?Strong relationship-building skills.
- Analytical/Problem-Solving:?Ability to analyze data and develop solutions.
- Product Knowledge:?Develop in-depth knowledge of the product and competitive landscape.
- Solid presentation skills with high energy level and professionalism.
- Support various conferences including IRWA annual/local conferences and meetings, AASHTO, etc. and travel to client locations nationally as appropriate. Up to 40% of travel may be required.
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience preferred.
