Work You'll Do
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) Systems to lead teams in the development, integration, and management of critical infrastructure systems. This leadership position requires a strong technical background as well as proven management capabilities. The successful candidate will oversee the strategic direction, secure operation, and effective integration of OT and IT systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and technical specialists.
Oversee resource allocation, project prioritization, and performance management to achieve operational excellence.
Foster a collaborative culture focused on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Supervise the design and evolution of system architectures for OT control systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs), ensuring robust integration with IT environments.
Approve and review high-level architectural decisions and documentation for consistency and alignment with business needs.
Oversee the full lifecycle management of OT systems, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Set standards and frameworks for systems engineering across projects to ensure quality and reliability.
Act as escalation point for complex technical, operational, or integration challenges, guiding cross-functional troubleshooting efforts.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies.
Ensure development, maintenance, and dissemination of comprehensive documentation for all key system architectures, policies, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
7+ years in software development and systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a team lead, supervisory, or managerial role
Preferred:
Proven ability to develop and enforce cybersecurity policies in OT/IT settingsSuccess in managing cross-functional teams, project delivery, and stakeholder alignment
Strong communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership within OT control systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs), including oversight of integration with IT environments
In-depth understanding of IT systems, networking, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, etc.)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,800 to $218,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
