As a part of the Learning and Involvement team (LIT), this position oversees collaboration between HRE and academic units for 3-5 living-learning communities (LLCs), serving as a consultant for best practices in LLCs, ensuring adequate planning and management of the programs, and helping troubleshoot challenges that may arise in implementation. The Assistant Director ensures that practices adhere to university budgets and other relevant protocols and procedures, assists in continuity planning for staff transitions, and provides support, as needed for their respective LLCs. This role also contributes to overall team efforts that support connections between HRE and the academic mission of the university for students.
