Wells Fargo Analytics Director – Marketing Leads Team in COLUMBUS, Ohio
About this role:
Wells Fargo’s Consumer Banking and Lending’s Marketing Science organization is seeking a talented and experienced Analytics Director to lead the Marketing Leads Team in support of audience creation and campaign execution across a broad portfolio of marketing programs and partner-specific targeting needs. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that develops execution-ready campaign lists and audiences with strong documentation, quality assurance, and operational rigor.
You will oversee the team’s work across list development, promotion history maintenance, executional documentation, and quality assurance support, while improving how audience requirements are translated into build-ready outputs earlier in the campaign process. This leader will play a key role in reducing handoffs and preventable rework, strengthening controls and documentation standards, and establishing more consistent operating routines across the organization.
The role requires a strong combination of people leadership, operational discipline, technical credibility, and cross-functional partnership. The successful candidate will help create a more reliable and scalable execution model that improves quality, readiness, and stakeholder confidence.

In this role, you will:
Lead a team responsible for creating campaign lead lists and execution-ready audiences across Growth, Deepening, Business Banking, Digital Engagement, and other enterprise marketing use cases.
Define priorities, capacity plans, and work allocation approaches that balance delivery speed, quality, and control rigor across team workflows.
Oversee promotion history maintenance, list build readiness, and executional documentation to ensure outputs are complete, traceable, and ready for downstream handoff.
Strengthen list QA practices and quality controls, including evidence trails, escalation paths, and routines that reduce defects and avoidable rework.
Partner with Marketing, Risk and Controls, Standardization, Innovation, and Marketing Execution teams to improve intake quality, clarify dependencies, and strengthen execution readiness.
Drive standardization in list-development methods, reusable targeting logic, documentation practices, and team operating routines to support greater consistency and scale.
Build a high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Coach and develop managers and individual contributors, creating clear performance expectations and career pathways that blend technical delivery, business partnership, and operational leadership.
Communicate execution risks, quality concerns, tradeoffs, and capacity constraints clearly to senior stakeholders and business partners.
Help improve the connection points between strategy, sizing, audience creation, QA, documentation, and downstream execution.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Deep expertise in audience creation, targeting logic, list execution, quality review, and multi-channel campaign support.
Experience partnering across Marketing, Marketing Sciences, execution teams, and control partners in a large, matrixed organization.
Strong operational leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, improve team routines, and balance quality with delivery demands.
Knowledge of governance, compliance, risk, and documentation expectations relevant to marketing targeting and execution.
Experience in financial services marketing or another highly regulated environment.
Experience leading pod-based or portfolio-based execution teams with shared standards across multiple lines of business or use cases.
Strong knowledge of audience platforms such as Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, or similar tools used for audience creation and targeting execution.
Experience with workflow, intake, and documentation tools such as Aprimo, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
SQL proficiency and the ability to validate audience logic, troubleshoot counts, and support execution readiness.
Track record of improving documentation quality, QA routines, operating consistency, and execution reliability in a high-volume production environment.
Experience with reusable audience logic, promotion history management, or standardized execution assets.
Experience with process improvement, change management, or automation that reduces manual rework and strengthens repeatability.
SAS, Python, or R experience is a plus.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$159,000.00 - $254,000.00
