Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery in a dynamic and growing distribution facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and scheduling maintenance work for all equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues on various machinery.

  • Perform necessary repairs on equipment.

  • Schedule and execute maintenance work for all equipment.

  • Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns.

  • Recommend appropriate service and repair actions to address equipment performance issues.

  • Implement equipment repairs or modifications to improve operating and performance.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment according to company procedures and policies.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in distribution facilities maintenance.

  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience or applicable schooling.

  • Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and HVAC systems is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse setting. Shifts are as follows: Friday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with additional hours available during the week to reach a 40-hour work week. The facility is located in Columbus and Asheville, with various shifts available to accommodate different schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
