Temporary Fulltime position from 3/1/2026 to 10/31/2026 50 Hours/week 13.03/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $11.23 This position will perform general farming, irrigation and maintenance duties to include: Repair, maintenance and cleaning of farm and irrigation equipment in preparation of the growing season. - Changing and repairing gated pipe,cleaning ditches, regulating head gates, starting and moving smaller sprinklers. Ongoing maintenance of irrigation equipment and overseeing operation of irrigation pumps. Drive trucks, 4-wheeler and other farm implements in support of planting, cultivating, and irrigating of farm related crops. Frequent bending to pick rocks. Use hand tools to maintain farm machinery including tractors, pickups, tillage, spray, pumps and other irrigation equipment. Worker will maintain and repair barbed wire, pipe and wood fences. Worker will assist in cutting and piling small trees and junipers. Worker will assist with haying and harvest as well as other ranch/farm duties related to the production of hay. Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions as needed. Maintain accurate irrigation records. Worker will be required to work odd/long hours and during irrigation and haying season. End of season repair, maintenance and cleaning of farm and irrigation equipment. Worker may be exposed to snakes or other predators. Extensive walking, stooping, pulling, pushing and must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds.
