Temporary Fulltime position from 3-1-2026 to 12-15-2026 47.5 Hours/week $18.48/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $16.68 Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment. Split bee colonies. Feed and medicate bees. Treat bee hives for mites. Mow around bee yards. Set up and maintain bear fences. Monitor, maintain and increase bee hives. Load and unload flatbed trucks. Transport bee hives from bee yards to the honey extraction plant. Harvest, extract and package honey. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Sterilize all honey extraction equipment and facilities daily. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment and prepare all bee hives to be shipped out of state at the end of the season. The following deduction will be made: Taxes, if applicable under Federal, State, and local law from U.S. Workers, FICA Taxes, & Federal Income Tax Withholding. Willful or negligent destruction of property. No deductions will be made which would bring the employee's hourly wage below the Federal Minimum Wage. If workers request and receive a pay advance, that amount will later be deducted from their paycheck. Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively. Drivers license in 30 days. Clean driving record required. Drug free work environment. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing may be required at random.
