Columbus Regional Hospital Physician Practice Registered Nurse in Columbus, Indiana
What you need to know about this position:
Southern Indiana Heart and Vascular is a specialty care office with 18 providers, 13 exam rooms,3 satellite offices, seeing around 120+ patients per day.
The Physician Practice RN performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients, which includes assessment of patient problems and appropriate intervention, knowledge of procedures performed to anticipate the needs of the physician and partnering with other clinical staff.
The RN participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care/interventions, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
The RN is responsible for retrieving, routing, and assisting with provider messages in regard to patient telephone calls, messages, etc.
The base hourly rate for this position is $28.85. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
This position will require you to work 8:00am-5:00pm, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Current Indiana License Registered Nurse (LRRN) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
