ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Indiana

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: COLUMBUS, IN

Pay Range: $25-30 Based on experience plus shift differential

Shift: 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm, 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools, blueprints, schematics, and PLC software to identify and resolve equipment issues.

  • Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs and modifications as needed.

  • Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and external vendors to support maintenance activities.

  • Maintain accurate documentation related to maintenance, calibration, and regulatory compliance.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working with facility equipment, including CNC machinery.

  • Advanced training in PLC controls, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; Journeyman-level certification preferred.
