Hilton Director, Distribution Strategy, Branded Apartments in Columbia, South Carolina

This is your chance to be part of the Global Distribution Team. The Global Distribution Team is an important function of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, and analytics functions. It is critical to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Global Distribution team, you will report to the Senior Director of Distribution Strategy, Americas. You will work on projects including account management, commercial negotiations with third parties, and establishing the guardrails for new channel engagement and growth within the Branded Apartments category.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Create, communicate, and implement a well-defined distribution channel strategy and roadmap for Branded Apartments with clear critical metrics
  • Lead channel assessment and contracting, evaluate technical/commercial fit, and work closely with Pricing, Sales and Global Distribution to ensure successful integration of third-party channel initiatives into broader Commercial Strategies.
  • Partner with pricing/revenue to craft offers for third-party channels, tracking outcomes, and grow long-term stay business.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Manage, report, and communicate, across multiple commercial forums, performance against important metrics weekly, monthly, and annually
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create metrics and targets for measuring results and improving forecasting
  • Socialize weekly state of the business reports and address ad hoc requests from senior leadership

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:

  • Drive the distribution growth of Branded Apartments. You will identify apartment-focused channels based in the Americas, assess technical/commercial fit, develop contracts with new channels, and manage channel relationships. This role will also work cross-functionally with sales and front office teams to hone channel strategies and craft offers for third party channels to grow long term stays.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of professional work experience
  • Seven (7) years of work experience in distribution, channel activation, revenue management or other role-relevant environments and fields
  • Advanced understanding of products including extended stay hotels, short-term rentals, or serviced apartments product
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Experience negotiating sizeable distribution contracts
  • Willingness to travel domestically and globally up to 35%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Fifteen (15) years of professional experience in digital travel, hospitality, or adjacent industries and business fields
  • Experience managing apartment-focused and/or vacation rental channels
  • Recent experience managing a large online channel at scale and developing plans to improve that business
  • Sound understanding of Hilton brands, operations, systems, and organization

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits (https://jobs.hilton.com/us/en/benefits) package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $120,000 – $175,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.#LI-REMOTE
