Coordinator, Private Duty Nursing

Columbia, MO

Pay $17 to $19 per hour

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a Coordinator for our Private Duty Nursing team in Columbia. This is a fast paced, people focused role where organization, urgency, and communication matter every single day.

If you thrive on keeping things moving, solving problems quickly, and making sure patients and nurses are supported, this could be a great fit.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining nursing schedules, ensuring coverage aligns with care plans, and responding to urgent needs as they arise. This role requires strong decision making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain nursing schedules

Schedule nurses based on care plans and staff availability

Review client agreements and care plans to ensure appropriate service coverage

Respond to urgent staffing needs

Enter and maintain accurate staff and client information in the database

Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution

Handle a multi line phone system with professionalism

Qualifications

Highly organized and detail oriented

Strong communication and problem solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Previous care coordination experience preferred but not required

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
