Project Manager
Columbia, Missouri (Hybrid Work Options Available) Full-Time | Exempt | Benefits Eligible Salary: $75,483 - $77,771 annually (commensurate with experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery across cross-functional teams and departments. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are aligned with organizational goals while delivering on scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, and closeout across cross-functional teams, departments, and technology areas.
- Align project scope, deliverables, and outcomes with organizational strategic and operational goals; track and report on performance and results.
- Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, assumptions, and constraints.
- Develop project charters and establish clear objectives and deliverables based on stakeholder needs.
- Ensure adherence to project management processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to support project execution and related activities.
- Identify issues and risks and recommend solutions to maintain project progress and quality outcomes.
- Support project execution through meeting facilitation, timeline management, communication, and problem resolution.
- Prioritize project work and support team workload planning as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, MIS, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic knowledge of project management principles
- Must pass an FBI criminal background check, including national fingerprint screening
- Clean criminal record (excluding minor traffic violations)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 5 years of project management experience
- Familiarity with formal project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- PMP certification
- MBA or equivalent advanced experience
- Proven ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions
- Facilitate meetings, manage timelines, and support communication across teams
- Prioritize project tasks and assist with team workload planning as needed
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
